Sexual Medicine Reviews (SMR) – Impact Factor 5.345 (2021)
Sexual Medicine Reviews (SMR) solicits evidence-based, primarily systematic, in-depth reviews of the highest caliber on multi-disciplinary clinical or translational topics in Sexual Medicine. These reviews, published quarterly, embrace wide-ranging, comprehensive subjects of male, female and couple sexual function and dysfunction.
The scope of SMR represents the diversity of subjects in basic science and clinical practice that define sexual health, sexual function, sexual dysfunction and sexual medicine. SMR is targeted at the sexual medicine investigator, practitioner, and trainee, but is also explicitly intended to appeal to and serve the needs of a broader audience of generalists and specialists with interest in or need of a high quality overview of a specific topic in sexual medicine.
The Journal accomplishes this objective by publishing high quality, evidence-based reviews that support the mission of the International Society for Sexual Medicine.

Video Journal of Prosthetic Urology (VJPU)
Your Sexual Medicine Video Journal
The journal was created by the ISSM to serve as a forum for sexual medicine to allow its members to exchange notable ideas via the visual medium. Our members are scattered across the globe and prosthetic urology is a tiny subspecialty of sexual medicine. A specific goal was to facilitate the transmission of surgical technique knowledge regarding the implantation of surgical devices related to sexual medicine.
Our editorial team welcome your video submission of anything you feel needs illustrating in the field of sexual medicine. While we are titled a journal of prosthetic urology, your submission does not have to involve a medical device. We presently have such diverse videos as how to make a surgical video, robot assisted vaso-vasotomy, repair of penile injuries and communication skills development in sexual medicine.
As Editor-In-Chief, I promise rapid turnaround of your submission with constructive criticism by experts in the field of sexual medicine. I also promise to have the best instructional videos from our industry sponsors, AMS & Coloplast, always available on our website to facilitate your optimum patient outcomes. Unlike other medical video journals, the generous participation of these industry partners permit our website to be available without charge or without the requirement of a password to sexual medicine physicians and physicians in training worldwide.
I hope you will enjoy our journal and return every month to see “what’s new”.
