ISSM accepts direct individual membership applications, but roughly 75% of the total membership is received through the societies that are affiliated with the ISSM.
For example: Are you from Europe and already a member of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM), make sure to upgrade your membership to a joint ESSM & ISSM membership. If you apply through the affiliated societies there is sometimes a discount provided on the joint membership. NB. This discount differs per society, and there are different criteria per society in order to become a member.
