The Membership Committee works in partnership with the Board of Directors and Executive Office to develop and execute member recruitment and retention strategies and to provide advice regarding membership-related processes.

Dr Eric Chung is a urological surgeon at the AndroUrology Centre and holds academic professorial appointments at the University of Queensland in Brisbane and Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney. He is the Secretary- General of APSSM, Chair of both Scientific and Membership Committees at ISSM and Chair of the Prostate Cancer Survivorship committee at the last International Consultation on Sexual Medicine. He is a strong advocate for international collaborations and a multi- disciplinary approach in personalized treatment pathways.

Alejandro Carvajal. MD, FECSM. I am a urologist who works at the San Vicente Fundacion University Hospital in Medellín, Colombia. I am also a professor at CES University. I did my Andrology fellowship in Barcelona, Spain. I am certified in Clinical Andrology by the European Academy of Andrology. I have served as a member of the ISSM communications committee and now on the membership committee. I also belong to the board of directors of SLAMS as general secretary. My main interest is related to Sexual Medicine, male infertility and its surgical treatment, mainly penile implants.

Amr Abdelhamed

Amr Abdelhamed is a Lecturer of Dermatology, Venereology & Andrology at Sohag University Hospitals, Egypt. He completed his master’s degree (2009) about male reproductive functions in diabetes mellitus, MD degree and had a scholarship in Japan for 2 years at Juntendo, Tokyo, Japan. His research work focused on clinical and experimental and sexual dysfunction.

Dr. Amjad Alwaal, MD, MSc, FRCSC, FACS is a fellowship- trained expert in sexual medicine and reconstructive urology. He is currently an Associate Professor at Marshall University in West Virginia, USA. Dr. Alwaal has nearly 50 published articles and book chapters. He is part of the Membership Committee at ISSM and also a member of the Education and Awards Committee at SMSNA.

Mikkel Fode

Dr. Mikkel Fode, MD, PhD, FECSM is an associate professor of Urology at Copenhagen University Hospital, Herlev and Gentofte Hospital. He also serves as the Chairperson of the ESSM Educational Committee and on the editorial board of the Journal of Sexual Medicine and he is head of the Danish Andrology Group under the auspices of the Danish Urological Association. Dr. Fode's main interests are andrology, urinary tract dysfunction, and prostate cancer and he has authored more than 130 peer- reviewed articles and book chapters on these topics.

Miguel Alfredo Rivero was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After receiving his medical degree with an Award of Honor, Dr. Rivero completed his residency in general surgery in Buenos Aires. Later he held a fellowship in Andrology at the University Hospital of Hamburg- Eppendorf in Germany. He is Member of several societies: Argentine Medical Association (AMA),
Argentine Society of Urology (SAU), Argentine Society of Andrology (SAA), American Confederation of Urology (CAU), American Urological Association (AUA), International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and Latin American Society for Sexual Medicine (SLAMS) with an active participation in most of them. Dr. Rivero is the recipient of several Awards. He has been the author or coauthor of a number of journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Rivero is the Co- Editor of the Book (in Spanish) “Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of the Erectile Dysfunction” (2019 - University of Buenos Aires).

He has an MD with 3 years of Successful completion of Residency in General Adult Psychiatry in 2010 from the University of North Dakota, Fargo, USA. After that, he has also earned his MBA (Healthcare Administration) in December 2010 from the well- reputed College of Health Sciences, Walden University, Minneapolis, USA. Dr. Sompur mainly focuses on Adult Psychiatry, Geriatric psychiatry, Sleep and Sexual Disorders, De- Addiction, Adolescent, and child psychiatry. Works as a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Antahkarana Clinic. Apart from this, he was also worked as a Resident Fellow, with full unrestricted Licensure, in Child Psychiatry at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA. He is a professional member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and is also an active profile of the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) of which he is a Life Fellow.

Korea and completed his Master’s (1991) and Doctoral degree (1997) of Medicine at the Chonnam
University in Gwangju, Korea. He was research fellow at the Tulane University (2000- 2001),
president of Korean Society of Sexual Medicine and Andrology (KSSMA; 2016~2018)
He is now a Professor (2006~) and director of Urology (2013~), Director of Clinical Research
center (2015~) of Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital, Hallym University College of Medicine, Seoul,
Korea. He is an expert of sexual medicine and has researched to understand the pathogenic and
molecular mechanisms of endothelial changes of penile corpus cavernosum, soft tissue filler
development, and post- micturitional dribbling with aging."
