Dr. Lee is an Associate Professor of Urology at University College London and Consultant Urological Surgeon at University College London Hospital, UK. He is the Clinical Lead for Gender Surgery at New Victoria Hospital and Trust Education Lead at the Royal Free Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
Dr. Lee serves as the Treasurer of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and is a Board Member of both the British Society for Sexual Medicine and BAUS Section of Andrology. He serves as the Chair for the ISSM Scientific Review Committee and led the recent submission of 2 completed Scientific Reviews. He is also a Board Member of the ESSM Surgical Academy. Dr. Lee is the Co-Convenor of the prestigious Men’s Health Masterclass for Serious Implanters held biannually in London. He also co-convened the 18th GURS Masterclass in addition to other international and national scientific meetings. He regularly serves as chairperson and invited faculty at the same meetings.
Dr. Lee has authored more than 50 articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals and books. Dr. Matthew Ziegelmann is an Associate Professor of Urology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, United States of America. His clinical practice focus sexual medicine with particular expertise in the medical and surgical management of Peyronie’s Disease and Erectile Dysfunction. He is a current member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America Board of Directors and he is the chairperson for the Medical Student and Resident Committee as well. He will also be chairing the upcoming SMSNA Annual Fall Scientific Meeting in Orlando, FL scheduled for October 2026.
Dr. Ziegelmann has authored more than 140 articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals and books. Dr. Paolo Capogrosso is Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy. He serves as Assistant Chief of the Department of Urology at Ospedale di Circolo e Fondazione Macchi, ASST-Sette Laghi in Varese. Dr. Capogrosso earned his medical degree with highest honors from Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan and completed his urology residency at the same institution, followed by clinical fellowships in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Belgium and France, robotic surgery at Institut Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris, and biostatistics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Capogrosso has authored more than 197 articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals, with an H-index of 29. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Sexual Medicine and Andrology. Dr. Cindy Meston is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of the Sexual Psychophysiology Laboratory at the University of Texas at Austin. She has received numerous international awards and accolades for her ground-breaking research on women’s sexual function. In 2016, Dr. Meston was named one of the 100 most influential and inspirational women in the world by the BBC. In 2024, she was named the most highly cited scholar worldwide in Sexual Function and the second most highly cited scholar worldwide in Sexual Medicine by scholargps.com. She is a Past President for the International Society for the Scientific Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH).
Dr. Meston has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed academic publications and two books. Her book Why Women Have Sex (co-authored with Dr. David Buss) has been translated into eleven languages. She has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Sexual Medicine, and is an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for many sexual medical and research journals.
Dr. Meston’s contributions to the field of sexual medicine and ISSM include:
1. Female Sexual Arousal and the Sympathetic Nervous System: Dr. Meston was the first to directly examine the role of the SNS in the female sexual response, conducting a series of experiments on humans and animals and finding that an optimal level of SNS activation is necessary for physiological sexual arousal.
2. Childhood Sexual Abuse: Dr. Meston has conducted a series of studies seeking to understand the cognitive mechanisms by which early sexual abuse experiences impact adult sexual functioning. Based on her findings, she developed an efficacious expressive writing intervention for sexual trauma survivors.
3. Psychometric Development: Dr. Meston has developed a number of questionnaires and psychometric tools to measure constructs in sexuality including, the Sexual Satisfaction Scale, the Why Have Sex Questionnaire, the Cues for Sexual Desire Scale, the Sexual Disgust Scale, and the Female Sexual Function Index (co-author).
4. Sexual Motivation: Together with evolutionary psychologist Dr. David Buss, Dr. Meston conducted a five-year, large-scale study of sexual motives, finding that humans report 237 distinct reasons for having sex.

EAJ, a Full Professor of Endocrinology and Medical Sexology (ENDOSEX) – the first with this chair – in the School of Medicine and Surgery and in the School of Psychology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, was a guest researcher and fellow at the Clinical Endocrinology Branch, NIDDK/NIH, Bethesda, and lecturer at St Catherine’s College, Oxford on courses of the European Academy of Sexual Medicine. He has been a Visiting Professor of Andrology or Urology at the Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou), Anhui Medical University (Hefei), Jiao Tong University (Shanghai), Daxin Hospital (Xi’an), and Academic Advisor of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; moreover, he is an Honorary Professor of Andrology & Sexual Medicine at the Hanoi School of Medicine and Distinguished Professor at the Third Affiliated Hospital of the Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou). He is the scientific coordinator of Hangzhou Mia Clinic for FSDs in Hangzhou and of the MaPS-GoSH (Marco Polo Study Group on Sexual Health), a Sino-Italian scientific network of various Universities and Clinical Centers developing research in the field of sexual medicine.
Prof. Jannini is an international expert in andrology and medical sexology, having published more than 450 well-recognized scientific studies and books on premature ejaculation (top quoted), psychometry of sexual identity, erectile dysfunction, paraphilias, homophobia, thyroid hormone receptor, and female sexual function and dysfunction, which produced, with more than 16000 citations, a Hirsch (H) index of 73 (Scopus) and 88 (Google Scholar).

Dr. Wayne J.G. Hellstrom is a Professor of Urology and the Chief of Andrology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his MD from McGill University in Montreal, where he also completed a residency in general surgery, followed by a residency in urology at the University of California, San Francisco. He later completed an American Urological Association (AUA) Scholar-funded fellowship in andrology at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Hellstrom has trained 34 fellows, more than 100 residents, and numerous medical students and visiting physicians. He practices as a urologist and andrologist at Tulane Medical Center, Touro Infirmary, East Jefferson General Hospital, University Medical Center, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in New Orleans. His clinical and research expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunction, including Peyronie’s disease, surgical and vascular reconstruction, prosthetic surgery, male infertility (both surgical and medical therapies), benign prostatic hyperplasia, and urethral stricture disease.
He is an active member of numerous professional societies and is a Past President of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), the American Society of Andrology (ASA), and the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM). Dr. Hellstrom has authored or co-authored more than 570 peer-reviewed manuscripts and over 100 book chapters. He has also edited several major textbooks in the field of andrology, including Male Infertility and Sexual Dysfunction (1997), Handbook of Sexual Dysfunction (1999), Androgen Deficiency and Testosterone Replacement (2013), and Bioenvironmental Issues Affecting Men’s Reproductive and Sexual Health (2017). He has delivered invited presentations locally, nationally, and internationally on a wide range of topics related to male sexual dysfunction and male infertility.
His recent honors include the Living Legend Award from the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons (SUPS, 2022) and the Distinguished Mentor Award (AUA, 2024).

Dr. Edgardo F Becher is a Professor of Urology at the University of Buenos Aires, and Director of Centro de Urología – CDU in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Dr Becher graduated as a physician at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in 1983 receiving the “Honor Diploma”. He completed the residency program in Urology at the Department of Urology, Hospital de Clínicas “José de San Martín” (University of Buenos Aires) and served two clinical fellowships at the Departments of Urology of the William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI and University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN USA.
In 1995 he completed his Ph.D. in Surgery at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine, where he currently serves as Professor of Urology.
Dr. Becher is member of several professional medical associations, frequent international presenter, author and reviewer of many peer review publications and book chapters in the field of Urology and Sexual Medicine.

Dr. Kwangsung Park is a Professor Emeritus of Urology at the Chonnam National University Medical School, an Executive Member of the National Academy of Medicine of Korea, and Chairman of the Membership Committee of the ISSM. He was a research fellow at Boston University, USA. He is the Past President of the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology, the Korean Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, and the Korean Association for Sexual Health.

Dr. Fernando Facio is a Professor of Urology and the Director of Sexual Medicine Fellowship Program at FAMERP Medical School in Brazil.
