Prof Joachim Osur is the Vice Chancellor, Amref International University. He is a Professor of sexual and reproductive health, a public health, reproductive health, Sexual Medicine specialist practitioner and a sex coach. His interests are on research on indigenous African practices that improve sexual wellbeing; integration of sexual medicine in African health systems; and destigmatizing sexual diversity and practices to enhance sexual wellbeing. He is widely published in peer reviewed journals, has written books in his area of specialization and is a regular sexual health educator in popular print and audiovisual media. Among others, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, a Master’s Degree in Public Health, and a PhD in reproductive health; a Membership of the American College of Sexologists and a Fellowship of the Multidisciplinary Joint Committee on Sexual Medicine as designated by the European Union of Medical Specialists.

Stephanie Jona Buehler, MPW, PsyD, CST-S, IF is a highly respected psychologist, AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor, and a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. As the President of LearnSexTherapy.com by The Buehler Institute, Inc., she leads a premier educational platform offering APA, NBCC, AASECT, and California BRN-approved continuing education for mental health and healthcare providers.
A prolific author, Dr. Buehler is best known for her widely used inclusive textbook, What Every Mental Health Provider Needs to Know about Sex (3rd Ed.), which has become an essential resource. Recognized for creating a sexological ecosystemic model, her work has been highly influential in sexology. She serves as a reviewer for esteemed academic journals, including Current Reports in Sexual Health, ensuring the advancement of evidence-based practices in sexual health and therapy.

Mitchell Tepper, PhD, MPH
Dr. Mitchell Tepper brings 43 years of personal experience living well with a spinal cord injury to his role as a Sexuality Researcher, Educator, Coach, and Servant Leader. With a profound understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by individuals with acquired disabilities, Dr. Tepper has become a passionate and influential voice advocating for sexual health and intimacy within the community.
Tepper's dedication to improving lives is evident through his extensive contributions to the field. He has published research on sexuality education and counseling in SCI rehabilitation programs, pleasure and orgasm in people with SCI, and sexual health care for wounded warriors. Additionally, he developed the curriculum, Providing Comprehensive Sexual Health Care for People with Spinal Injuries: Continuing Education for Health Care Professionals that was funded by the Paralyzed Veterans of America Spinal Cord Injury Education and Training Foundation. He is also the author of Regain that Feeling: Secrets to Sexual Self-Discovery and Producer/Director of the award winning documentary, Love After War: Saving Love, Saving Lives, now streaming on PBS.
Dr. Tepper's robust educational background includes a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Bryant University, a Master of Public Health from Yale University, and a PhD in Human Sexuality Education from the University of Pennsylvania. This diverse foundation equips him with unique expertise to drive meaningful change and connect individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers to vital resources and support.
