To make a meaningful and active platform within ISSM where young researches will collaborate on researches beneficial to ISSM and to create a network for young researches within Sexual Medicine.
The ISSM Young Researchers Committee is responsible for the following programs/ initiatives:
To develop research projects as much international as possible with a broad vision that will meet the requirements for publication in journals.

Institute of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, Italy. Andrea Salonia is the current Chairman of the EAU Guidelines panel on Male sexual and reproductive health.
Over the last decades, Andrea Salonia’s major research interests have been focused on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of men sexual and reproductive health, with a targeted translational approach.

Dr. Petar Bajic is Assistant Professor of Urology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He is a urologist and fellowship- trained specialist in sexual medicine, male genital reconstruction and men’s health. His primary areas of clinical interest include Peyronie's disease, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, cosmetic and reconstructive genital surgery, urinary incontinence, genital pain, and prostate enlargement. His research interests include translational microbiome research, clinical trials, and healthcare disparities.

Dr Helen L. Bernie DO, MPH is a fellowship trained urologist and the Director of Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Indiana University. She is also an Assistant Professor of Urology at the School of Medicine where she teaches the medical students. She completed her residency in Urology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester NY, and went on to complete a two- year fellowship in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY. She is passionate about men's health, cancer survivorship and fertility preservation. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.

Luca Boeri is a Urologist at the University of Milan. In November 2019 he started his PhD program in Clinical Research at University of Milan focusing on couple’s infertility, genetics, and immunology.

Borja García Gómez is an andrologist based in Madrid and currently working for both public and private sectors. He is part of the Andrology and Reconstructive Urology Unit in Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre and the coordinator of the Andrology and Reconstructive Urology Unit in HM Hospitales. He is currently professor of Urology in the CEU- San Pablo University, in the Master in Andrology of the Universidad de Salamanca, and in the Master of Fertility of the Universidad Complutense. He is an author of more than 40 papers PubMed indexed and has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction, including prosthesis implantation; and the diagnosis and treatment in Peyronie’s disease.

Vaibhav is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist at the Manchester Andrology Centre, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. He joined the Northwest of England’s regional centre for male sexual and reproductive health (Andrology) in 2019. He is part of the highest volume penile prosthesis implanting team in the north of England. The unit is also the regional centre for Peyronies disease, and he leads the male factor infertility service. Vaibhav is the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) social media strategy lead, a member of the EAU Male Sexual and Reproductive Health guideline panel, The Urology Foundation scientific committee, and the British association of Urological Surgeons section for Andrology and Genito- urinary surgery.

Edoardo Pozzi is a Urology resident from IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, Italy. He obtained his Medical Degree from an entirely English-taught course at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan. He had the chance to attend, as a research fellow, the Andrology department at University College London hospital (UCLh), focusing his research on erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male infertility and penile cancer. Thus, his main interests are male sexual dysfunctions, male infertility, penile cancer and testis cancer.

Dr. Carolyn Salter is a fellowship trained urologist with a focus on male sexual and reproductive medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her
medical degree from the military medical school, the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). She completed her urology residency at Walter Reed National Military
Medical Center and went on to attend fellowship in male sexual and reproductive medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Salter is an active- duty officer in the United States Army. She is currently an attending urologist at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, USA, and an assistant
professor at USUHS. Her research interests focus on testosterone deficiency, Peyronie’s disease, erectile dysfunction, and sexual incontinence.

Dr Filipe Neto graduated from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco Medical School in 2008. He completed his urology residency at Instituto de Medicina Integral Prof. Fernando Figueira – IMIP, and did a fellowship in andrology and reproductive medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College - New York in 2015/16. He works in the private practice and is the coordinator of the Andrology service at Instituto de Medicina Integral Prof. Fernando Figueira. Furthermore, he is member of the American Urological Association, International Society of Sexual Medicine, America Society of Reproductive Medicine, Society for Male Reproduction and Urology, and Sociedade Brasileira de Urologia. Dr Neto's primary research areas are male infertility, microsurgery, sexual medicine and human reproduction.
