Yes. A girl born with vaginal agenesis has two X chromosomes, which means she is a genetic female. (Boys have one X and one Y chromosome.) Most girls with vaginal agenesis have functioning ovaries that produce female hormones. These girls go through normal puberty (developing breasts, pubic hair, etc.) just like their peers.
