Over the past 10 years there has been a significant increase in testosterone utilization in aging men worldwide. Our understanding of how testosterone effects the heart, prostate, bone health, fertility and metabolic syndrome as well as in other age-related conditions such as frailty and cognition have all significantly improved over this time. However, there is still debate in many of these areas on testosterone’s safety and efficacy. The aim of this lecture is to provide further clarity on these topics.
