Jean-Francois Ginestié Prize

Dr. Jean-Francois Ginestié was one of the radiological pioneers in the field of vasculogenic impotence. He was responsible for the initial development of the technique of selective internal pudendal arteriography, having written one of the first comprehensive texts on the subject. Urologist and researcher Dr. Jean Ginestié of Montpellier, France has created a foundation to award a prize in memory of his son to be given at the Biennial International Symposium for Corpus Cavernosum Revascularization. This prize, offered to encourage and promote research is being awarded to a participant in the congress who has submitted an outstanding, original work on a basic science project on physiology, biochemistry of anatomy of penile erection.
