MESSAGE FROM THE CONGRESS CHAIRMAN

It is really my pleasure to invite you all to the Pharaoh's land for the
ISSM World Congress on Sexual Medicine, which will be held in Cairo from 17-21 September 2006.
Egypt, with its thousands of years of civilization, warmly welcomes you to the country where the 1st sexual surgery
operation on earth (male circumcision) has been recorded thousands of years ago.
The choice to hold the meeting in Cairo emphasizes the educational
role of ISSM in promoting and upgrading Sexual Medicine in Africa
as it is the first time for ISSM to hold its meeting on the African continent.
This congress is an opportunity to learn, exchange experiences and transfer knowledge in all fields of Sexual Medicine.
All specialists interested are invited to participate by submitting papers and abstracts and
to join actively in to the rich scientific program the meeting will offer.
Cairo welcomes you to witness the ancient Pharaonic and modern tourist attractions. The
social program will take you back to your dreams of Thousand Nights at the foot of the
pyramids. The Local Organizing Committee will save no effort to make your dreams come true and to achieve a memorable scientific

MESSAGE FROM THE ISSM PRESIDENT
Dear Colleagues & Friends
On behalf of the International Society for Sexual Medicine, it gives
me a great pleasure to invite you all to its 12th biennial congress,
which is becoming more global this time as the first world meeting for
the African continent at Cairo in 2006.
We live in an exciting world order where sexual awareness has
descended as a holistic triumph of social and cultural development in
line with life style modifications and medical advancements. Together
with the prolongation of life expectancy, our mission is now centered
towards ensuring the gift of longer healthier lives to the family and
partnership commitments. In this regard, this congress will enrich us
with the latest advances in all sexual medicine disciplines and will help us identify the
missing links and deepen our knowledge and interest in this sensitive and complex human
science. The Local Organizing Committee, ably supported by the permanent Scientific
Subcommittee of ISSM, is working out a scientific program that promises to be outstanding.
The congress will also be an opportune moment to facilitate refreshing friendships in a perfectly professional and scientific ambience.
