March 14, 2018

Mayo Clinic Proceedings has recently published “Process of Care for Management of Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) in Women,” by the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH).

Developed by a panel of 17 experts from a variety of disciplines, the Process of Care offers evidence-based guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of HSDD, a chronic lack of sexual desire in women accompanied by distress and negative emotional states. The publication is targeted for both sexual medicine specialists and non-expert primary care professionals.
